I'm trying to a conversion module that is available on the Active Forums site to convert a Snitz Forum to use AF. When the page runs and inserts the data in my local SQL Server DB I get the following error in FireFox after a period of time:

XML Parsing Error: no element found

The data still loads in the load DB, but I need to complete the process by clicking the next button on the conversion module page.

There's nothing in the DNN logs for this and I've done a bit of research that suggests it's not an error that's specific to the conversion module.

Has anyone else ever seen this error in DNN and is there a quick fix I can apply?

Only in Firefox?  Did you talk to the people that wrote your conversion software?

Jeff -

Thanks for your reply. FF gave the error and IE7 returned 'Page cannot be displayed'.

Weirdly, I tried the same operation again the following day and it worked. Since it was a once only process I don't really need to find the cause.

After googling a bit it seems like the process somehow returned a document with no content after it had run for a while. Some of the google results also pointed to it happening in non DNN applications so I can't pin it down to either the conversion software nor DNN.
