We are using several repository module on our site. They all used to work fine, but now the three on the Tech page are downloading 0kB files. I went and looked at the files on the FTP and they are correct. I deleted one and re-uploaded it, and it still does it! This used to work.

HELP!

Things rarely happen without a trigger. Something must have changed :)

What changes have you made recently, or at least since it was working? upgraded DNN? Upgraded the Repository module? Made any configuration changes to DNN, the module or IIS?

When a downloaded file is 0 bytes,it "usually" is a product of compression. Have you recently turned on compression in DNN? IIS? installed a 3rd party compression utility?

First, I would go to the Host settings and check your compression settings. You can either turn compression off to see if it solves the problem, or add the filetypes to the config file to prevent binaries from being compressed. There are a couple of threads in this forum discussing the compression issue.

Done a million things lately, but I would imagin that if compression is the issue it is PageBlaster. I upgraded pageblaster to the latest release not that long ago, wonder if it is causing my problems? The only other major change is removing the DNN 4.4.3 Forum (still a hair quirky) and using the YAF forum module.
