Hi All,

I have DNN 4.4.1 installed on a secure server so the address begins with https://.

Whenever I try to add a link using the text editor and create link function, it puts the page link as http:// . . .

Where can I change this so that it comes out as https://?

It would be great if there were a best practices document for installing on a secure server, as I have run into toehr areas (such as the email sent when a person joins) that also gave the address as http://.

Thanks in advance for your help.

are you using latest version of DotNetNuke (4.8.2) and Text/HTML Module (4.8.1)? There have been improvements during the latest version in recognition of file paths.

No we are using 4.4.1

Thank you for the information. That will give us more incentive to upgrade.

If when you are editing and you are accessing your site via https, then it should add https automatically.  For example, it would make a difference if you edit the website via http://localhost/yoursite  vs https://yourdomain/yoursite.
