For some reason, my FCK gallery has basically locked me out. What I mean is that it will allow me to go to the point of Browsing the files for an image, but when I click the "Upload File" link, this message comes up;

An Error Has Occurred When Attempting To Save The File d:\hosting\username\domain.com\Portals\0\Links\Call Now!.gif. Please Contact Your Hosting Provider To Ensure The Appropriate Security Settings Have Been Enabled On The Server

I called the provider, and they said that somehow the permissions in front page have gotten screwed up. I've never made any changes there.

  Any ideas?

remove frontpage extensions (or ask your hosting provider to do so), you don't need them for DNN and they tend to cause troubles.

Frontpage extensions are fine in my experience, but if you use the server extension panel to tighten security or fix extensions, it will remove the DNN permissions. Simply re-apply the required DNN file permissions to the file system.

That may or may not fix your problem however.

Or... try it without the exclamation mark in the filename.

Hello and thank you very much. I did exactly as you said and it worked perfectly. I'm not sure how the extentions go there in the first place, but I went in and removed them and then reset the permissions and everything returned to normal. All is well now!

                  Thanks again, Jeff....
