My question is which file is it where i need to do the replacing? Is this in the desktop module?
Is this located in a file inside the desktop module? Is it in the Source Code and then recompile?
Please let me know for sure... thanks.

AFAIK it is part of the source code, i.e. you need a source version to modify and recompile.

I've reviewed your software GUI and must say its pretty impressive...

I still have my pitch fork and torch ready to charge.

Thanks for the thumbs up for Winstep Xtreme, and, regarding the pitch fork, guess what?! I just woke up and the old feed seems to be working again!  Looks like someone at the Weather Channel finally grew some sense. Yay!

Can you guys confirm this?

Still no joy for me on any of my sites that are using the Oliver Hine Weather Module.

Yeah, looks like I jumped the gun, although I'm not sure how that happened. Maybe they temporarily restored the feed, which caused Winstep Xtreme to display the last weather forecast it got. Restarting the application brought back the dreaded N/A.

And me thinking they had come to their senses...

Sorry for the problems this may have caused anyone, but hopefully knowing that a new version will be released tomorrow will ease the pain.

Personally, I can't believe they changed the format of the URL. I guess we should add links back to weather.com to completely follow their guidelines.

The new version has been completely rewritten as a server control. I was planning to release it about 2 years ago but just haven't had the extra time to fully test it under all possible environments. I can't promise a completely bug free release, but I will try and get new dll's out as the errors are reported. The only configurations I'm expecting problems with are servers behind proxy servers.
