I believe that URL is for the web page itself, not the RSS feed.  On the right hand part of that screen, you will see an orange RSS button.  Clicking on that will give you a popup with the actual RSS feed.  An RSS feed usually ends in .xml.  Try this URL instead:

Just tried it on my own site and it does the same thing.  It looks like the core News Feeds (RSS) module is not properly supporting RSS 1.0.  We are working on a new version that will which should be released in the next 1 - 2 months.  In the mean time, if you need a module to better handle news feeds, there are several 3rd party solutions out there that you can buy on SnowCovered.com that may work for you:

Orizonti NukeFeeds (http://www.snowcovered.com/snowcovered2/Default.aspx?tabid=166&CatalogItemID=2519&CatalogID=7&search=rss&pagenumber=0&sortby=&tagid=-1)

Sanibel Logic LLC SmartNews RSS (http://www.snowcovered.com/snowcovered2/Default.aspx?tabid=166&CatalogItemID=3033&CatalogID=7&search=rss&pagenumber=0&sortby=&tagid=-1)

DNNDev.com XMod RSS Reader (http://www.snowcovered.com/snowcovered2/Default.aspx?tabid=166&CatalogItemID=1462&CatalogID=7&search=rss&pagenumber=0&sortby=&tagid=-1)

TotallyFabricated.com NewsReader (http://www.snowcovered.com/snowcovered2/Default.aspx?tabid=166&CatalogItemID=1444&CatalogID=7&search=rss&pagenumber=0&sortby=&tagid=-1)

It's really not the module not supporting the feed.  The issue is that the feed is an RDF rss feed.  The default xsl transformation file out of the box supports transformation of simple RSSv0.091 and above feeds.  You can use RDF RSS news feeds in the default News RSS module, you just have to write a suitable xsl file to transform it.

Other news readers may automate this for you, but still the number one thing you can do to ensure that a feed is being handled properly is understand how the feed is contructed.  Any xsl that you use for a feed must include support for the namespaces decalared, and the tags within that namespace, otherwise the tags will simply be ignored.

There is a sample RDF xsl on this forum that handles a simple RDF feed.  I'm unable to test it with this particular feed, but it should give a start on how to do it.  Spend you money on the custom modules if you need it, but if you can use the default module and just write a custom xsl, it's a good learning experience, and saves you some bucks too.
