I think the subject says it all but here's expansion:

DNN 4.08.00
Events 03.03.08

Viewing the detail of a recurring event and use the 'Return' link (to go back to the month view) and it takes you back to the 1st day the event occurred.
Example: I have an event that started in late April and continues into late May. Now it's May 16 and when I return to month view after viewing detail on that event the calendar is looking at April.

I'd expected it to go back to the month I was viewing OR to today's date but that's not what happens.
While 'I' can just live with it I'm trying to make my site as easy to use as possible and this quirk will just throw some people off.

Hopefully I can take a look at this in teh next couple of days, when I get back from the US. Not sure whether a change would make it into 4.0.0 or not, since we are trying to get the current RC3 into the release tracker, so it may have to wait for the next release.

I've just had a look at this against the 4.0.0 code, and I think the problem is fixed. Hopefully this should be out in production soon, so I would suggest you upgrade to that when available. It includes many other fixes over 3.3.8 anyway.

Cheers
Roger

Thanks Roger.

I'll check out v4 in my captive test site asap.

Do I have to backup my data before updating? Or is that just a dumb question?
I'll have to learn how to do that anyways ...

That depends on your process. In production you should always backup, it is good practice. In test, it is up to you, depends if you care if you lose your data when it all goes horribly wrong. It shouldn't go wrong, by the way, it is reasonably well tested. Though if you are are on SQL2000, there is a minor bug in the upgrade script which shouldn't cause any real problems.
