OK.. installed the Report Services bits, as directed in the FAQ.. and got the viewer to show up with the correct parameter search bar at the top, but when I hit the "View Report" button, nothing happens (no spinning arrows)

I can login to the Report Services Server directly from the web browser, use the same user/pw and get the displayed reports..

Settings in the viewer module:

MS Reporting Viewer Settings
server: http://10.217.50.31/reportserver
Server Report Path: /HK/Reports/HK Inbound Verification Sheet
User: HKWebReportViewer
Domain: onesitedb

So.. What am I missing?

msweetnam,

Where did you set the username in the module?

Have you made sure that the asp.net account (XP) or the vista equivalent account have access to the SSRS folder? The access has to be given to be able to get a connection from DNN to SSRS.

I hope this helps.

Marc

This is my same problem!  I have DNN 4.8.2 and Reports 5.0.0.

Here's the deal.  SSRS and DNN were getting along great.  I had 3 reports that I deployed via the Reports module within DNN, and they all displayed correctly.  However, these reports didn't have any parameters.

Today, our developer updated the same 3 reports so that each has a grouping parameter.  I redeployed the updated reports.  Now you have a pick a paramter from the "Group By" dropdown list, and then click the "View Report" button.  These 3 reports work fine when accessed through the SSRS web interface directly.  However, when accessed through the reports module, nothing happens when you pick a parameter and click the "View Report" button.

What am I overlooking?

See Ya!

Never mind!  I was overlooking the FAQ for this module.

The current version of the Reports module does NOT support input fields for parameters.  It always pays to read the FAQ, first.

Sorry!
