No problem. I agree the calendar should use something use the calendar timezone or the user timezone, which is why I have raised the issue on Gemini, and pointed at this thread for the conversation..
The point of the timezone in the calendar, is to allow different calendar instances on a single portal to be set to different timezones. When merged, through sub-calendars, they are altered by their appropriate timezones. Also notifications are sent out based on the timezones. This isn't perfect, because DST processing isn't perfect DNN, but that is a different discussion.
Note that the times displayed on the calendar are not altered at all by user timezones, again this is a DST thing. When DST processing is accurate, this could be done. But for now, what you enter is what you see. The module admin, has the otions to display the module timezone in each event.
And by the way I meant en-AU, not en_NZ for the language.....
