I'm using Forum 4.4.3 and DNN 4.8.2.

A few of my users are getting the text of posts truncated.  I can't see any obvious reason.

Truncate at different character counts, no obvious 'funny' characters.

Has anyone else come across this ? Or have suggestions on how to track it down ?

Keith

Can you desript with more details?  We are know about a bug with the word A L E R T by using the fck editor.  Have you using the word filter?

Using the FckEditor.  No word filter in place.

The word A L E R T could be the cause of one instance, but unlikely in the other two or three.  I will have to check with users.  Is there a workaround to the A L E R T one ?  It is a word likely to be used a lot on one of my sites !

Many Thanks

Keith

I have checked with the users in question and it is quite probable that it was the word A L E R T and everything after it.

Is there a work around ? Or is it simply not to use the word A L E R T ?

We had still fixed this in a old version.  Looks like there is some changed in the FCK-Editor Provider, Or in the Editor by self.  At this time there is no workartound and it is new posted as a issue in version 4.4.3.  I think it would fixed in the next version.
