New Community Website

Ordinarily, you'd be at the right spot, but we've recently launched a brand new community website... For the community, by the community.

Yay... Take Me to the Community!

Welcome to the DNN Community Forums, your preferred source of online community support for all things related to DNN.
In order to participate you must be a registered DNNizen

The new version is available, with a demo here:

http://www.adverageous.com/DNNModules/AdverageousAccessManager/LiveDemo/tabid/56/Default.aspx

New Layout manager allows admins, and each user to scale the module to better fit the DNN skin, as well as the clients screen-resolution:

This allows for different Width, Height, and pagesize settings per module, per view (Thumbnail or Details mode):

Excel output has been added to the log-viewing, a modifed-demo version with the "View Logs" screen available to non-admins is on the Adverageous Dev site here:
http://dev.adverageous.com/AccessManager/tabid/54/ctl/ViewLogs/mid/373/Default.aspx

Additionally, the file "Filter" has been expanded to allow full subfolder searching, with results sorted by Folder then Filename:

For existing customers, the update to this module is now available at:

www.adverageous.com

"DNN Modules" / "Module Updates" tab.

Please email me at admin@adverageous.com if you have difficulties getting the correct update (Enterprise or Standard edition).

Other Notes:  The previous versions are there, but there is no need to install any of them before v1.4.  If you are performing a new install, just install the 1.4PA version.

The download .Zip files must be unzipped first:  inside you will find the PA.Zip which is to be installed to DNN as a Host/Superuser.

Version 1.5 is nearing completion with the following new features:

Linked content-folders = Optional per folder setting which keeps files managed by the module "synced" to the DNN filesystem automatically.
Autocreate folder types = Folder names now based on UserName to allow for easier administration
Sort Order priority settings for top-level folders.
Admin UI overhaul = View/Edit all folder, User, and role settings on-screen at once (simplified admin process).
Zip Files, Unzip File, and Email File(s) options.

The demo for the above should be available on the dev site before Monday.

Access Manager 1.5 has been delayed slightly, relating to some decisions on the merging of different requests from different customers.

Information on this, and details on the 1.5 release can be found here:
http://www.adverageous.com/Forums/tabid/62/mid/392/threadid/90/threadpage/3/scope/posts/Default.aspx#104

I would appreciate any additional input from existing customers, espcially that which relates to:

  1. How your using the module
  2. Features you would like to see added
  3. Features you would like changed
