I have a website operating under an old version of DNN. (3 something)  I have lost the Host password, and the email address I originally used to register is long gone as well.  I want to update to the latest version of DNN, but obviously can't do so without the Host password.  Is there any way to recover it, or am I going to have to delete my whole website and start over?

Do you have access to the SQL server for the website? If so, you can get in there and replace the password for the host account with the information from an account that you know the password for. There are two columns in the tables to copy, the salt and the password itself. I think the table you'll need to look at is the aspnet_membership or aspnet_profile table.
