Can you allow registered users to create and event without giving edit permissions to locations, cateogries, etc...

Hi Tim,

Yes. Just give them, edit right to the module. They can then add events, but not alter categories/locations.

Is it possible to do this for anon public users as well, if so how?

I am having troubles with this, i created a security role called event editor, selected edit under the module settings and added my user to the role. I see the edit button in the top left but there is no way to add event, they cant even edit an existing event. Where am i going wrong? Thanks

Hi Mark,

No, at this time it isn't possible. The permissions grid appears to allow it, but the module doesn't support it. You could always add this as a feature request on Gemini...
