ok i have been looking for an ansewr and fix to this for a couple days. godaddy.com is hosting my dotnetnuke site and they give u version 4.x point is i upgraded dotnetnuke myself by uploading the upgrade file and unziping it inside the dot net nuke folder and then it automaticly upgraded itself. site works fine only problem is the action menu that suppose to drop down from the modules to edit them dose not drop instead i get an error that sais "childnodes... null" iv read to enabl or disable trace but i duno were to find that and i dont know if its a table setting a file missing or whats going on i could use some help thnx.

When you upgraded did you step through the upgrades or make a jump from like 4.6 to 4.8.3?

I have found that when making large jumps in upgrades things tend to break, but if you go from 4.6 to 4.7 to 4.8.3 things work a bit smoother. Not sure what version godaddy starts you on. I would hope it was most current, but I find that some hosts start you back 3-4 versions behind.

Do you know what version it was before the upgrade?

yea they started me off like at 4.8.0 and i upgraded to 4.8.3 even befor i did the upgrade the problem would happen and its frustrating cuz i really wanna get my site runing and editing the site without that blows. i have even reinstalled dot netnuke and still same problem dont know whats going on
