Hi,

I am quite new to DNN and would like to develop a simple module that calls an external Web Service method passing in the logged in user's DNN User ID. The Web service will have no return value. The module will simply make the call and that's it.

Any tips of where I would start in implementing this?

Adam,

This should be really simple, inside your main view control, on page_load you can obtain the UserId value from the system, and perform your webservice call, just like you would normally with .NET
