path of the fck provider is stored in web.config, while path of the editor is stored inside the provider. What do you really want to achive?

thanks Sebastian,

i want to configure the path of the fck editor according to the user. That means each user will have their own folder. How can i achieve that?

n that will be decided at the run time.

looking forward for the reply

are you referring to the path of the Editor itself or the path for images and flash to be inserted or documents linking to?

Start folder for any images, documents and links need to be set in DNN URL control (utilized by the FCK provider), which currently does not support this feature. I am sorry. there are plans to integrate a new URLControl in DNN 5.1 or later.

well it is the second case, i want to change the path of the media folder.

This mean that i have to have the url control that will support that feature. but i dont want to change the DNN 4.8.0 core which i m using.

So, does that mean that i have no way out??
