How can I make it where no matter what url people access my site by it redirects to a specified url.  For example..  If someone accesses my site via http://mysite.com have it redirect to http://www.mysite.com

thanks

Hey Chris,

What is your hosting environment like? Do you have control over the server at all?

One common way of accomplishing this task (If you have access to IIS) would be to set up two web sites in IIS that point to the same application directory. On one site use the host header mysite.com", on the second site use the host header "www.mysite.com" - set the entire first site to redirect to the second.

I'm certain there are a variety of enhancements for DNN that provide this functionality as well.  You may look into the products provided by Snapsis and IFinity - I believe they both offer products that address this. In addition, a quick google search for "dotnetnuke redirecting to www" turned up this result: SEO 301 redirect.

Take care,

Ian
