I built a site on SQL Express and thought about adding a small forum for my users. Has anyone installed the DNN forums with MS SQL Express? Have you had any issues?

all modules provided with DotNetNuke work with SQL Express without any problems (though you might need to upgrade, if the number of concurrent users is growing).

You shouldn't have any problems using the DotNetNuke Core forums module on SQL Express unless you have a huge database that is starting to exceede the max site allowed for SLQ Express (I believe it is 4gb).  If you're looking for a hard core forum, you might also want to consider ActiveForums by ActiveModules.  It isn't free, but it is an excellent product and has a number of features that aren't in the core forums.  It is definately worth it.
