Hello,

I am a regular user of many DNN forums. My user name is composed of two parts. And each time I want to post a new message, I have the error message:

An error has occurred.
Error: Add/Edit Post is currently unavailable.

Error: Add/Edit Post is currently unavailable.

I hope you can pinpoint the problem. I am obliged to create a second user, with one word only to post... :-(

It's a known issue.  If you search this forum you will find a solution you can use between the issue will be fixed on next release.

This has been around for around 9 months. I had to create a new account on these forums and it happens on my Smart-Thinker forums too. The "fix" does not work for me so I've had to look at other Forum modules (being unable to post on a Forum is a showstopper  IMHO, but this is not a shared opinion unfortunately).

Thanks,
Rodney

Hello mathias,

I am not using any DNN forum module on my website. I am a standard user, (trying to) posting on various DNN website and I can not create new topics. And you ask ME to do something to be able to post ? Is it a joke ???? I think that people who have DNN website with corrupted forum module should do something.

PS: That's  a pity, plenty of user can not post in your DNN websites.

Declic,

if there is no "My settings" on the Forums it is not a DNN Forum.  Then we can not support those forms. Ask the owner of the side for assistance.
