This is quite a current issue for anyone within academia. I'm currently polling interest for a shibboleth authentication provider.
It is like some of the other providers here a fereated access system.
Main Questions Are:
Are Many People interested in this?
Is anyone willing to help?

 Yes me,

I'm currently working at UCLA and we need to authenticate our dotnetnuke portal against our shibboleth authentication system.

In a recent project, I needed a shibboleth provider and used https://dnnshibauthprovider.codeplex.com/, it required some changes because DNN moved the Telerik controls to a different namespace, but it worked fine with just those changes. Maybe it works for you too.
