This is quite a current issue for anyone within academia. I'm currently polling interest for a shibboleth authentication provider. 
It is like some of the other providers here a federated access system. 
Main Questions Are:
Are Many People interested in this?
Is anyone willing to help?

Hi John,  I'm interested!

We're an online college and need a single sign-on solution for our Library site.  Our ideal scenario would be that students could login to any of our DNN -based course sites, and through this get authenticated to the Library site (will also be DNN), and then on to any of a whole set of academic publishing & e-journal sites that we subscribe to.   We're OK with the external part of this as we'll use a federated search site (probably EBSCO) which uses Shibboleth, but we need some help with the DNN end of it.

If I don't really sound like I know what I'm talking about, it's because I'm just starting to get my head around it all.  However, suffice to say that I'm very interested in anything you're doing with this,
