Hi Everybody,

i have a problem using the media module as it replaces the uploaded image or flash when having the same name which causes them to appear in other pageswhich had the old file associated to their own media module.

now i need it to rename the files...i tried to do so by writing a script in the ".ascx" that renames the file but it didnt work ,so i tried to copy the file to the "templates" folder and rename it then insert it to the files table and update the media table with the new file id.

it worked ok except for the updating part....i'm sure the record was updated with the new file id but it keeps rolling back some how and returns to the old file id...i dont know how and i dont know why

if anyone could help me with this i'll be grateful

Thank You All and Have A Nice Day
