I saw this happened a few times on DNN too.

I've actually seen similar behavior in the DNN forums, so I suspect that problem is not isolated to your installation and is a bug.

I don't have much direct experience with the forum module, but if this is not a known issue, then a work item should be created in Gemini.  Others will probably know if such an issue already exists.
