I have just checked a link on my site - and there is a FREE video for download - that gives a good overview on skins, the folders, where to install them.

Why not log in and download that now that the link has been checked and fixed. It is an 18mb wmv file for media player.

but the main is lacking everywhere

HOW TO MAKE SKIN.......??

HOW TO MAKE A CONTAINER .... ??

in ur site as well as other , apply skin  help is given but how to make it not given .

please can anyone tell me in deatil how to make skin file . as well as ascx file ....

i have design in psd files as well in html page, and i am finding hard to make skin ....

One more problem i am facing that in DNN

"LINKS ARE NOT AVAILABLE .. "   please tell me why this comming & how to remove this .. ??

this is comong while i add text/html module from top menu ...

 

why not DNN team provide installer , as this proved a very fine facility ...

please anyone solve my queries ... help me out ...

I will have a free tutorial which will show how I skin, and have done so for many skins I have created.  It will be avaible in next few days.

You can open up the skin file in notepad, front page, VS, golive, dreamweaver, any editor to see how it's configured.

Are you a programmer or a designer? What skills do you have do this so we can offer you the right advice?
