Here's the problem - I have a dynamic registration module for updating passwords only. On save no conformation message is displayed to the user. Sure i can redirect to another page but i would like redirect them back to the same page.

A simple solution would be to pass a query string variable e.g update=true back to a text/HTML module that displays the conformation message. I envisage the module setting would have two fields for the query string key/value trigger and if that was present the content would be hidden (probably only need one field).

Does anyone know of a module that already achieves this? I can get one built but I'm just surprised nothing exists yet or that i haven't stumbled upon it. Alternatively is there another way to resolve said problem?

Thanks

Adam

Adam,

AFAIK there is no such module, but IMO this is a task to be executed by your module, e.g. by showing an "A lert" message box.

I agree with Sebastian that if you already have a custom module it would be best to just have it display a module message.

However, if you are looking for a custom module to do this, I can sure create something for you....it wouldn't be all that expensive either.

meanwhile Text/HTML supports tokens, i.e. you can display text based on tokens like [membership:isApproved], unfortunately there is no "if ... then ... else" logic built in, but you can use e.g. [Profile:FirstName|Hello  {0}, thanks for logging in|Please log in to view the content!]
