I am running DNN 4.8.3 with Events moduel on a calendar page set to calendar view. I have events module on home page linked to subcalendar which is set to list view only. When I first view the site the event list module shows an error in the module. If I goto calendar page then back to main page the event list shows properly. I am new new DNN. Have I linked the calendars incorrectly or is this a bug. The following is the error displayed in event viewer.

I was about to start a new post, when I saw that this describes my problem exactly. My Events module is 03.03.08, DNN 04.08.02, hosting service is MyHosting.com. I have screen shots if it helps.

Hi Sandy,

Did you try the fix indicated by Peridigm in his/her second post? Disable Category Select in the module settings. The good news is that this is fixed in the forthcoming release (4.0.1).

Cheers
Roger

Yes, and it seems to work. The problem could be recreated if I quit Safari and returned to the site, and I also retested after rebooting a PC. Sorry I didn't see the workaround to begin with, but I'm glad the dev team has a fix.
