Hi

I run a site called www.vendorsbay.com on DNN 4.8.1, Windows Server 2000, SQL Server 2005 on same machine and Catalook

Once in a few days the images are lost. I foud out they are lost from the DNN file table.

Its probably not a catalook issue because its the DNN file system. It seams that some procedure starts a file sync and stops in the middle.

If I try to run filesnc on scheduler it fails with the error of wrong path.

I have same site with a bit older version on Server 2003 and it doesnt happen there.

DOes DNN not compatible with Server 2000 ?

What can it be ?

Thanks

Lior

there have been other installations reporting the same issue as yours and the cause could be narrowed down to scheduled file sync. I haven't been able to identify, what happens in those specific installations (on my test systems scheduled file sync worked well), but I suggest to disable it and use Auto File Sync (Host Setting) and manual recursive file sync when necessary (after creating / deleting / renaming a folder from outside DNN only).
