Hi all,
you know how you can click on [+] to expand menu?
Well, sometime it's slow when opening for some reason? Is there way to speed this up?
In dnn_control.prototype.DNNTree.prototype.collapseNode (in .js file) you can set oCtr.style.display = 'none'; and then collapsing if immidiate. But how cna I do something like that for expanding?
Of course, preferably, I would like to speed up animation, so user can actually see it expanding.
Anyone knows how to do this by any chance?
Thanks.

The speed of the animation is dictated by the number of frames the animation takes...  so if you say you have 10 frames in your animation if the size if large, this will apper fast... however if the area collapsed is small it will look slower..   currently the tree control has no property to allow this number to be changed.. therefore it uses the default defined in the dnn.js file.

dnn_dom.prototype.collapseElement = function (oCtl, iNum, pCallBack)

{

if (iNum == null)

iNum = 10;

dnn_dom.prototype.expandElement = function (oCtl, iNum, pCallBack)

{

if (iNum == null)

iNum = 10;

So I guess what I am saying, you can configure it by editing this file for now... but with each upgrade of DNN this will be overwritten.  I will be exposing this as a property of the skin at some point (assuming your tree is from the main menu).  If it is a custom tree within a module or something look for a property called AnimationFrames in an update.
