Super noob here, looking for direction to focus my attention. Been searching google and the forums for anything lik ethis, and not finding much. First off a touch about my site.

Family site, using DNN. Has Forums, Repsitory, Chat, announcements and Events Module, plus a few others, but I have maintained pretty much one module per page. Using Godaddy hosting. The site runs great, till I get to the events modules page. Then things start to move very very slow. It can take 30 seconds plus, just to have the page load. If I want to add an event, I can plan on sitting here for at least4-5 minutes extra waiting on load times for each time I press update.

Any help, ideas, known issues or workarounds, tip tricks,. anything to help me get this working? I have already launched the site to the family and they are all axcited to use the module, but don't sue to the load times.

Do you have a lot of recurring events (more than 10 or so) with recurrence end dates that lie far ahead in the future (in the year 2050 or so)? If so, try to set the end dates back to an earlier year (see thread "Very Slow Loading").
