I have tried:

  • To check and uncheck all creation options (such as add assemble etc etc) with no difference
  • Checked module for errors, but its working fine
  • tried building ASP version 2.0 and 3.5 from visual studio with no effect

The only small problem i have had with this module is this:

www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Forums/tabid/795/forumid/111/threadid/234810/scope/posts/Default.aspx

It is still unresolved, and it might have something to do with it, im not sure

Can anyone point me in the right direction, seems to do with the actualy DotNetNuke Core Source Code, and I have no clue what to do with it.

I have tried upgrading to latest DotNetNuke version

Created a new blank site, imported the module files again. And it still gives me this error. Its not very descriptive at all. I dont know where the problem lies. How can I find out??

Seems i fixed my own problem...

I cleared out the module directory of alot of unnesecary files. These included a vbproj and solution file (dunno why they were there in the first place). And once i did this, the module creation worked.

Not a very descriptive error though, it should say something like, invalid file detected for module package creatin.
