Ok, this is twice I have had major issues after releasing to the publick. This is to be a business critical app for our suppliers. It was fine at 12:15, 20 minutes after the email went out about it but 30 minutes after it now shows Bad Request (Invalid Hostname) if going to the main DNN folder but using the subdomian pointer just brings up a page can not be found error. PLEASE HELP!! I have been raving about how much better this sytem would be and I have had anything but issues. I am unfortunatly hosting with GoDaddy who is zero help. I can't move this site yet to somewhere better but right now I just need it up and have no idea how to troublshoot.

Can you check to see if the code is still on the server say via FTP?

"Invalid Hostname" is an IIS error meaning IIS doesn't know where to send the request.  Check in you control panel to ensure the domain you are using will work for the site.

Another way to check is upload a basic html file into the directory (e.g. test.htm) and then try and access that file directly using the domain name of the site you are having problems with.  If you still get the Invalid Hostname message it is a problem to do with IIS or the DNS setup of the domain and not DNN.

Anthony,

Thanks for the reply. All looks well including the files being present and the DNS settings. I think it's just GoDaddy's crappy service. I haven't yet uploaded a html file yet but I will try to do that in a second to test it. I GREATLY appreciate your help. I'll let you know how it fairs.
