When you are logged in a host can you see the error detail in the event log?

Also, I would strongly recommend looking into upgrading when you have the time.

I can't get to that either.  It says

"Error: Log Viewer is currently unavailable."DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding. ---> System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding. at System.Data.SqlClient.SqlConnection.OnError(SqlException exception, Boolean breakConnection) at System.Data.SqlClient.SqlInternalConnection.OnError(SqlException exception, Boolean breakConnection) at System.Data.SqlClient.TdsParser.ThrowExceptionAndWarning(TdsParserStateObject stateObj) at System.Data.SqlClient.TdsParser.Run(RunBehavior runBehavior, SqlCommand cmdHandler, SqlDataReader dataStream, BulkCopySimpleResultSet bulkCopyHandler, TdsParserStateObject stateObj) at System.Data.SqlClient.SqlCommand.FinishExecuteReader(SqlDataReader ds, RunBehavior runBehavior, String resetOptionsString) at System.Data.SqlClient.SqlCommand.RunExecuteReaderTds(CommandBehavior cmdBehavior, RunBehavior runBehavior, Boolean returnStream, Boolean async) at System.Data.SqlClient.SqlCommand.RunExecuteReader(CommandBehavior cmdBehavior, RunBehavior runBehavior, Boolean returnStream, String method, DbAsyncResult result) at System.Data.SqlClient.SqlCommand.InternalExecuteNonQuery(DbAsyncResult result, String methodName, Boolean sendToPipe) at System.Data.SqlClient.SqlCommand.ExecuteNonQuery() at Microsoft.ApplicationBlocks.Data.SqlHelper.ExecuteNonQuery(SqlConnection connection, CommandType commandType, String commandText, SqlParameter[] commandParameters) at Microsoft.ApplicationBlocks.Data.SqlHelper.ExecuteNonQuery(String connectionString, CommandType commandType, String commandText, SqlParameter[] commandParameters) at Microsoft.ApplicationBlocks.Data.SqlHelper.ExecuteNonQuery(String connectionString, CommandType commandType, String commandText) at Microsoft.ApplicationBlocks.Data.SqlHelper.ExecuteNonQuery(String connectionString, String spName, Object[] parameterValues) at DotNetNuke.Services.Log.EventLog.DBLoggingProvider.Data.SqlDataProvider.PurgeLog() at DotNetNuke.Services.Log.EventLog.DBLoggingProvider.DBLoggingProvider.PurgeLogBuffer() at DotNetNuke.Services.Log.EventLog.LogController.PurgeLogBuffer() at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.Log.LogViewer.Page_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

Also I am kind of new to this company and I have had no past experience with DNN.  The site was set up when I got here.  I have been playing around w/ it for a while now and I am looking at upgrading but because of the unique setup we have I have coppied the page to a second server and I am testing how an upgrade will go over.

the timeout appears, if the table is too large - I suggest to clear all events by executing the following command in Host :: SQL menu:

TRUNCATE TABLE {databaseOwner}{objectQualifier}EventLog

Hey that worked great.  It let me right into the log and after attempting to access the file manager again it started writing the errors to the log.  I looked at it and kind of found the problem.  It looks like there were a number of folder names that it was looking for that it wouldn't find.  The folder names were skin/container packages that I had uploaded into the system.  So what I did was navigate to the parent folder and recreated each folder.  After I did this the contents of what would have been in there reapeard.  So it looks like when I attempted to remove them it did not delete them right.  So i went back into the file manager and tried to delete them there but it just said they are not empty and i need to delete their contents first.  Do you know what the right way to delete these skin packages would be?
