Is it possible to make it so that you can edit approval emails by security role?

My suggesting would be to add an extra text area in admin > security roles that stores the approval emails so it can be edited for each security role.

If we assigned someone to a security role such as admin, then we could email them instructions or our terms automatically when their securiy role has been approved.

AFAIK there are no plans in the core but please enter your desire as a feature request into the feature list or public issue tracker at support.dotnetnuke.com. There might also be a 3rd party registration solution supporting this feature. If you try to develop it for yourself, you should create your own role assignment module instead of tweaking the core framework.
