Hi,

I have recently made avaialble a FREE GoogleMAP module.

If you are interested in providing feedback (you do not really have to) please go download it here: http://www.inspectorit.com/Default.aspx?tabid=540

Thanks for the module. Is there any way to have the balloon location already visible when the map is first shown instead of the user having to click on the push pin?

Yes there is way - the WebControl itself (inspectorit.googlemapcontrol.dll) supports it but I have not exposed that property to the Module.

I am already working the next version, and I will work this request it.

Thanks!

Hi DNNStuff,

I thought I would let you know that I added some additional features to the GoogleMap Module including your request of setting the Balloon to be open on load.

I have also added the ability to add unlimited coordinates... so you do not have to only display one marker.

I have a lot of more ideas to go into it... but this is it for now.

Thank you!

Hi,
I really like this module. Thanks.

Are you still looking for feed back?
If so here are a couple.:
  1. Add the "To here" / "From here" routing options.
  2. Add a feature so that the width and height of the map adapt to the width & height of the ciewable screen, similar to what Google does with theirs.

Again,
Thanks for the module,
Kent
