Hi,

Can I restrict users to comment on some blogs not on other. I know that in Blog Settings we have option to select whether users/anonymous are allowed to post comment, other than is there any other option ?

Regards

Sudheep

Each individual blog and child blog has the ability to disable comments like you said.  Where else do you need this feature?

yes, I know that. If I do that it will get effected for all the users. I need to allow some users  who the admin  wishes , to comment an a particular blog.

Ah!  Now I understand.  The commenting is not built upon a granular security system in the DNN Blog Module.  That is an interesting idea.  You would either need to build that feature into it, or find another blog module that offers that feature.

Sorry for the bad news.  :(

the feature could easily be integrated as a custom permission "unmoderated comments", that needs to be queried after submission of a comment. I suggest to add this as a feature request to the public uissue tracker at support.dotnetnuke.com.
