Hi,

I've developed a custom module which i have package it using "create module package" link found in module definitions. but after i installed it into my testing website, the create module package link in module definition is missing.

I'm just wondering is there something which i need to do before i create the package?

Please help!

Thanks!

by the way,

i've tried installing the same module into diff websites, majority of the sites show the "Create Module Link " and the rest dun show the link.

Does anyone know why does it behave it this way?

It only shows up if you are logged in from a local address.

Are there any other ways that this link will not be displayed?  Also, how is it determined that the address is "local"?  I only ask this because I run all of my local sites under suedo domains (e.g., "www.somedomain.com"), and I still have this link available to me.

Hi All,

usually if the "Create Module Package" link doesn't appear it is because the folder field in module's definition doesn't match the real folder under DesktopModules where the files are placed.

Best regards,
Dario Rossa
