Hi,

A bizzare error has suddenly started when a logged on user (except host) clicks on their user name to edit/manage their profile it logs them out and continues with the call (which then becomes a register page). When you then log back in from that page it allows the page to be displayed

I presume this is somehow persmissions related - how can I resolve this quickly please?

Thanks

Nick

It may be related to this: Spontaneous Logout Except Host

Check whether the skin or initial page showing the user name uses any resources served up by ASP.NET - eg, aspx, asmx, ashx to generate an image, etc.

If they do, ensure the URL includes a portalid or tabid request parameter so that DNN authentication doesn't fall over.
