please look at my site, www.inthepipeline.tv I have set the time zone to central at the sub and master calender level but it is showing London ect on the summary box next to the media player.  I found a very useful purpose for the detail page, I am using for a guest profile page.  thanks alot for this awesome module!

You did not say what version of DNN and the Calendar module you are running.  The BETA5 module fixes most of the TimeZone issues.  However, it is Beta code, the release version of the module should be out by early April.
