I have a custom module with a DNNTree in it.  When the page with the module on it loads the DNNTree appears properly.  When I click a node in the tree that does a postback it calls the click handling method, but when the page reloads the DNNTree is no longer there.  I have tried all the obvious things like trying to set it visible in different places and repopulating the tree, but nothing seems to work.  When I do a DNNTree.TreeNodes.Count in the click handler it says that all of the nodes that should be there are still there.  I have debug messages going to a file and the contents look like this:

// Initial Page Load

7/9/2008 11:19:53 AM: Page_Load begin
7/9/2008 11:19:53 AM: Page_Load not post back
7/9/2008 11:19:53 AM: Page_Load populating tree
7/9/2008 11:19:53 AM: PopulateTree begin
7/9/2008 11:19:53 AM: PopulateTree nodes present = 0
7/9/2008 11:19:53 AM: PopulateTree nodes present = 1
7/9/2008 11:19:53 AM: PopulateTree end
7/9/2008 11:19:53 AM: Page_Load end

// DNNTree is visible

// Now click a node in the tree that does a postback

7/9/2008 11:20:14 AM: Page_Load begin
7/9/2008 11:20:14 AM: Page_Load post back
7/9/2008 11:20:14 AM: Page_Load end
7/9/2008 11:20:14 AM: DNNTree1_NodeClick begin
7/9/2008 11:20:14 AM: DNNTree1_NodeClick nodes present = 1
7/9/2008 11:20:14 AM: DNNTree1_NodeClick end

// DNNTree is no longer visible

Any thoughts, comments, suggestions?

Thanks,

Adam

Are you redrawing the control on each page request? (ie. is it wrapped in an If Page.IsPostBack = False)?
