Hi guys,

I've just completed my first ever install and have been having a look around the forums and wished to load a new module. I had been struggling for a while until I realized that I needed to log in as the host account to do it. Thats when I noticed that it didn't exist.

Do I have to do a re-install or can i fix it up? Please be aware that I am very new to this so lengthy explanations are welcome :)

Thanks

Dru

How do you know there is no host account?

Did you try

Host:dnnhost for username/password? I have a hard time believing it's not there...

Well I've tried logging in with username & password of dnnhost. I've tried username host & password dnnhost. I've tried username host and the same password as the admin account uses and I get an error logging in.

What and can I check that the account exists?

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. I tried to follow the instructions but got lost when it asked to look for the latest user account.

On my site I am able to register new user accounts so I skipped the first section. Is there a way to convert an account into a host account?

I could not find that there were multiple accounts listed but only a UserID. I'm very new to all this so if I must click somewhere to see more options just let me know. Thanks

I really appreciate you support with this.

Thanks

Dru
