It's strange...maybe my wireless network settings are somehow corrupting things...

<d width="100%" valign="middle" align="left" nowrap><span><div width="100%" class="DNNMenu main_dnnmenu_submenu" name="dnn$dnnNAV$ctldnnNAV" id="dnn_dnnNAV_ctldnnNAV"> <span name="36" id="36"><span class=" "></span><a class="main_dnnmenu_rootitem "  href="http://www.stctb.org/dogpark/Home/tabid/36/Default.aspx">Home</a></span><RIGHT HERE>
</div></span></td>

The actual page source returned to the browser has an "unprintable" character where I inserted <RIGHT HERE>.  It's not a CSS issue....I have refreshed a number of locations....now my Mac works with Safari and FF 3.01, my desktop works with Win XP FF 3.01 and it is only my Work PC that is failing.  I've had similar weirdness before where the firewall did something (not sure how).

Given that people here confirmed that it works, and that it works on some of my machines I'm going to consider it closed with a huge  question mark.

I'd just like to say a BIG THANKYOU for taking the time to go check it out for me.  I appreciate it - the website is only for non-profit and for Scottish Terriers - nothing erudite or profitable - and so free help is a great thing.  So again, thanks for taking the time.  If you find anything in your DNN travels that might explain this, please remember this post (yeah right ;-))

Thanks again

I finally figured it out.  Having decided to check the plugins I noticed my employer has a default plugin.  I had to hunt around to figure out what it did and one of the items was changing the user-agent.  This would explain the problems with the DNN-Nav not responding with a complete menu in the source.  I would imagine that the module needs to have "default" browser set to something more functional.

This also explains why it didn't work on Linux - this environment was initially installed as a work client and the Firefox implementation had that same plugin!

Once again - thanks for taking the time to look.  I'm posting this to remind myself - check plugins....then check them again ....I even asked for the plugins so I must have had a gut feel.
