Hi,

We created a custom search form using http handler to automatically generate PDF documents. This module also has an e-mail module so a user can e-mail the documents returned after search. The issue is when we open the document returned using search form and try to e-mail it, the module automatically logs off the user. Any suggestion why it is logging of the user? Any help would be appreciated!

thanks,

Ajay

if the path is within the url of your website you'll need to ensure that the request contains either the portalid or the portal alias, otherwise dotnetnuke will detect it as a change of portal and force the authentication cookies to be deleted . To fix it update your module to contain the portal value (the relevant example shown in bold) i.e. mysite.com/getdocuments.ashx?docid=2&portalid=1
