If I remove the following using PageBlaster to replace this with "". will I still be able to access and use my admin account to change content on the website, or will this hose me? None of my pages use this outside of when I am in admin mode, and actually I don't even know if it used there... What is this for?

Hi Crowland,

_doPostBack is the generic ASP.NET generated javascript function to perform a postback. Although this would (obviously) be heavily used in a DNN administrator context, there will also be places where the function will be called as an ordinary user (paging through a UDT, for example).

I believe you'll be quite sorry if you remove it. Proceed with caution!

Ok. It would be nice if DNN could just automatically remove anything not being used on the live site when compiling the pages. Seems like there is quite a bit of overhead when you are running live that you only need in admin mode. Of course I know some sites actually use all this stuff...

Thanks!
