How do I totally remove the ugly print and pointless [-] buttons?  I've got skins with up to 8 containers in each.  My client has to manually remove all of these buttons, as it stands.  It would be much better if they weren't there, at all.

Ideally, the DotNetNuke designers would have added these features as 'opt-in'.  They are not something you see very often, so why they thought that we'd all want them is a very bad decision.  We don't all share their idea of what a webpage is supposed to be like.  They should be thinking of the greater majority and not the smaller minority.

Sorry, but I spend half of my time dealing with this kind of pain.

wether the Links for "visibility", "print" and "syndicate" are shown can be controlled per module in module settings.

Yeah, that's what I'm saying.  As it stands, my client has to manually de-select the print option and set visibility to none, for every module, on every new page.  Pointless.  I want to change how this works.  Seen as though the DNN developers have added this in, for their own reasons, I'm assuming that they've had the intelligence to build in some way to change these options, site wide.

It's bad, it's amateur and my client wants it removed and he pays my wages.  If I can't do it, then I look like a muppet.

the actions are only displayed, if provided in the container, which is part of the skin. contact your skin developer and ask for a version w/o the options.

Cool, so there is a way.

Unfortunately I am the skin developer.  So I need to look at the containers, then?  Any further clues?

I'll look at the documentation.
