Hi there

Im trying to create a new "basic" container that just displays whatever content I selected - in i div tag.

I started out by altering the DNN-blue container, but for whatever reason I'm unable to display the content I put into my container. I tried using a Media module but the image is not displayed.

Any help?

My container looks like this (cut out any html that otherwise corrupts the display here in Forum):

Control language="vb" CodeBehind="~/admin/Containers/container.vb" AutoEventWireup="false" Explicit="True" Inherits="DotNetNuke.UI.Containers.Container"
Register TagPrefix="dnn" TagName="ACTIONS" Src="~/Admin/Containers/Actions.ascx"
Register TagPrefix="dnn" TagName="ICON" Src="~/Admin/Containers/Icon.ascx"
Register TagPrefix="dnn" TagName="TITLE" Src="~/Admin/Containers/Title.ascx"
Register TagPrefix="dnn" TagName="VISIBILITY" Src="~/Admin/Containers/Visibility.ascx"
Register TagPrefix="dnn" TagName="ACTIONBUTTON5" Src="~/Admin/Containers/ActionButton.ascx"
Register TagPrefix="dnn" TagName="ACTIONBUTTON1" Src="~/Admin/Containers/ActionButton.ascx"
Register TagPrefix="dnn" TagName="ACTIONBUTTON2" Src="~/Admin/Containers/ActionButton.ascx"
Register TagPrefix="dnn" TagName="ACTIONBUTTON3" Src="~/Admin/Containers/ActionButton.ascx"
Register TagPrefix="dnn" TagName="ACTIONBUTTON4" Src="~/Admin/Containers/ActionButton.ascx"dnn:ACTIONS runat="server" id="dnnACTIONS" ProviderName="DNNMenuNavigationProvider" ExpandDepth="1" PopulateNodesFromClient="True"
dnn:VISIBILITY runat="server" id="dnnVISIBILITY"
dnn:ACTIONBUTTON5 runat="server" id="dnnACTIONBUTTON5" CommandName="ModuleHelp.Action" DisplayIcon="True" DisplayLink="False"

div
id="ContentPane" runat="server"></div>

dnn
:ACTIONBUTTON1 runat="server" id="dnnACTIONBUTTON1" CommandName="AddContent.Action" DisplayIcon="True" DisplayLink="True"
dnn:ACTIONBUTTON2 runat="server" id="dnnACTIONBUTTON2" CommandName="SyndicateModule.Action" DisplayIcon="True" DisplayLink="False"
dnn:ACTIONBUTTON3 runat="server" id="dnnACTIONBUTTON3" CommandName="PrintModule.Action" DisplayIcon="True" DisplayLink="False"
dnn:ACTIONBUTTON4 runat="server" id="dnnACTIONBUTTON4" CommandName="ModuleSettings.Action" DisplayIcon="True" DisplayLink="False"

Try setting a css class on your ContentPane and putting some helpfull style information on in to tell you what is going on e.g. border:solid 1px red;

There are several reasons why it might not be showing, this is usualy something to do with the interaction with the rest of the page. How is the column that you are placing the container in styled, for example. If you are using div's (block elements ) then you will need to control how they flow in the page and probably float them left and set a width as a minimum.
