This has nothing to do with the "Remember me" checkbox. Please read the first post again.

Sebastian, thx for your reply. Is there a hack/way to get this to work again? I would want to enable this on ssl pages, but not the common pages.

Ps. Thread/post/forum notification dosen't work (but that's a completely different issue )

Ok, my mistake :)

I need to be able to turn autocomplete for Logins ON. I was quite able to do this in previous versions, even having it over-written on every upgrade but now this decision has been taken out of my hands for security reasons.

In DNN 5.0.0 it is now not possible to change autocomplete off to on in default.aspx. Somebody has taken the decision to relieve me of this function.

I read it's down to a security issue which full details are available on Cathals blog. Which I've read pages of it wihout seeing any reference. In fact a SITE search for autocomplete only shows ONE mention from 2007.

*I* need to be able to decide to use this feature or not and not have somebody else taking this decision for me. It's what my employers pay me handsomly for.

Great that was there previously and you could turn it on if the hosting environment allows. But not so good to have somebody else taking the decision that I cannot use this function and I am not able to decide this for myself. Please just give us the options to configure DNN how WE want not how you want.

Is there ANY way to hack this feature back in, please? I've tried adding the autocomplete string but no.

Paul
