I have a new installation on a share host, medium trust. The host, admin cannot login. I created a user and that user cannot login either. It looks like the login is successful, but you do not see the control panel or your user name where the register link is. I checked the log entries in the database and it looks like the logins are successful, but there is no access granted by DNN. Any ideas.

Did you try checking your firewall on your client PC? I had same problem when use ZoneAlarm.

My solution is shutdown firewall (ZoneAlarm) and problem is fixed.

If your machine keys have changed, then no one will be able to login.  You may want to check to make sure that they have not changed or been changed.

Thanks for the suggestions, It is not the machine keys since this is a new installation. Also I have two other sites on the same IP address that I setup within the last week or so using the same file from dotnetnuke and they work fine. I turned off my firewall and there is no change.

I fugured it out. I was an IE7 problem. I cleared the cookies and then it worked. It also worked on firefox and on another computer. somehow a cookie got added that affected the login. Thanks for the help.
