Excuse my frustration, but ever since I started using DNN over 3 years ago these forums have been nearly impossible to search. Is that on the list to get done? Usually gives an error. I know there's been discussion about this, but I wouldn't be able to search for it. ;-)

I think it's partly due to the server timing out. Not sure if Chris has access to the logs here.

Sergey, there are a few known issues where the actions of users who are not in trusted status can disrupt user's who posted on threads involving them (sorry to be so vague, i don't want to provide more details incase it causes problems). This issue has been resolved for the next release. We periodically fix these records so hopefully that will resolve your issue soon - note: most dotnetnuke.com email accounts receive thousands of emails daily, it's very easy for legitimate ones to get lost amongest the spam

Jason, looking at the roadmap (http://support.dotnetnuke.com/project/RoadMap.aspx?PROJID=7 ) I only see a few search related issues. What are the main issues you have with forum search, is it functionality or performance . If it's performance most of the fault has to lie with the dotnetnuke.com servers as at the minute we're doing a lot of page views with not a lot of hardware, hopefully we can get another webserver soon and that'll improve it. If it's functionality, I'd recommend creating enhancement requests on support.dotnetnuke.com.

Cathal
