hi all,

i have a website is using the 3.3.2 version. i wanna to upgrade the whole website to 4.8.4. and i found that we got the new upgrade wizard...

the questions are... in the doc, only describe select the v3 folder and then select the v4 folder in the correct fields.... but why do i have the v4 of the website? should i put a blank v4 website to the v4 folder? if so, i think probably the v4 new website do not have the pages set in v3.... OR i should copy one more v3 website into v4 folder, then the wizard will change the v4 folder website to v4??

so that, this wizard is only for Update the modules not the website??

in my case, should i just copy the v3 database as a v4 website database, and install v4 in the folder, then use this module update wizard?

Thank you to anyone who can help =) and all viewers

Keio, the Module Upgrade Wizard is provided for Developers, who want to upgrade their own modules to DNN 4.

As a Site Owner, I suggest to follow these instructions to upgrade your portal and suggest to use multiple steps, first upgrading to 4.0.3, then 4.3.7, 4.4.1 and 4.6.2, before upgrading to 4.8.4
