Hi All,

We have been working on our site and Google has already started indexing us. The problem is the index is showing the solpartmenu items as the description for all pages.

Please look here to see what I mean:

http://www.google.com/search?q=site:www.senior-clique.com&hl=en

Is this because of solpartmenu not being search engine friendly? If so, what menuing system is friendly. We need to get this fixed as it looks really bad on Google.

Can somebody shed some light on this please?

Warm regards,

In the admin > site settings, type the text you want to have show up in the google search result description area into the box labeled "description" and google should pick that up.

There are a lot of theories about what google does and does not value in terms of using different page elements to make its own descriptions vs use of meta tags and so forth. But taking the simple route above has worked best for me.
